Lake Tahoe is a major mecca for snow sports in the winter and water activities in the summer. The scenery is unrivaled no matter what the season.
The lake has a bit of a split personality. The north side is known as “cowboy chic” with a simple, rugged, back-to nature vibe. The south side has all the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas—the casinos, the upscale hotels and the high life.
