Lake Murray is in central South Carolina, close to Columbia. If you don’t have your own boat, you can hire a captain and a sailboat to watch the most wondrous of sunsets or take the “Purple Martin Phenomenon” tour aboard the Spirit of Lake Murray. You can rent a canoe or kayak and paddle your way across the lake in the moonlight. Or be the first in your crowd to paddle board around the lake’s islands.
